Lewisham
As
Lewisham is now the terminus of the Docklands Light Railway as well as
being a major rail and bus interchange historically, it is worth looking
at to see how new development and post integrated transport white paper
is helping thinking.
Should
the interchange be considered from the perspective of someone in Lewisham
attempting to find the transport, someone on the transport attempting
to find Lewisham, or someone using the function only of interchange?

Green
and smart looks at how transport and walking might best be combined.
Some places might best be starting or finishing points? But Lewisham
fits all three categories. It is on what I have called the Millenium
Line, in that it has such good connections into London, eight trains
an hour. Note: Pop up window requires a Javascript-enabled browser... |
